Due to the innocence and pure heart of small children, they are considered as a form of God. There is hardly anyone who does not love children because their hearts are so pure that they never think bad about anyone. Recently, a heart touching video of such an innocent child passing through the corridor of a hospital has gone viral.
In fact, 6-year-old John Henry was looking for an organ donor for the last 6 months because he needed a heart transplant. Now when he finally found a donor and his heart is going to be transplanted, his happiness knows no bounds. He is stopping doctors, nurses, patients and every person coming and going in the corridor of the hospital and telling them this. In the viral video, John is telling everyone – ‘Listen, I am going to get a new heart, listen… listen, I am going to get a new heart’.
On hearing this, some hospital staff are smiling, some are jumping and some nurses are raising their hands and giving him a high five. Everyone in the hospital seems happy for the child. Looking at John, it seems that he knows very well how badly he needs a heart transplant to get rid of his physical problems.
The video has been shared on the X page @CleClinicKids. Its caption reads- ‘John was waiting for a heart transplant for 6 months and now his family has received the news of finding a donor.’
Let us tell you that John-Henry was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a rare congenital condition in which a part of the heart is underdeveloped and unable to pump sufficient blood in the body. Doctors knew about John’s condition before he was born, and he underwent his first open-heart surgery just five days after birth. Now 6 years old, John is eager to recover and finally go to school with his siblings.
