Lightning struck in India, NASA astronaut took photo from space… it is going viral fast

NASA astronaut Matthew Dominic has recently shared a rare and heart-touching picture of India taken from space. This picture, posted on August 17, shows a bright and spectacular view of lightning in the night sky. The lightning captured in the background of the earth has surprised social media users. The special thing is that this picture is so perfect that it did not need any editing. This post has been viewed by more than 1 million people so far and it is becoming viral rapidly.

Dominic captioned this photo, ‘Lightning over India at night.’ I use burst mode to capture lightning in a photo. I hope the lightning comes in the frame. I was very happy when this lightning came exactly in the middle of the frame. No crop was needed.

Dominic explained that these stripes are caused by the high speed of the space station and the exposure time of 1/5 second. In addition, the haze above a city in the left and center of the frame is said to be haze caused by clouds and orbital motion.
