Leopard spotted in Hapur, forest department set up a cage to catch it

On Thursday morning, a villager again reported seeing a leopard in Nawada village of Hapur. Leopard’s paw marks have also been found. Along with the employees of Hapur forest department, experts from the wildlife team from Delhi also reached the village.

The team of wild experts also found leopard paw marks. This confirms the presence of a leopard in the area. Sanju, an employee of the wildlife team, said that till now only one cage was installed to catch leopards, but now 2 to 3 cages will be installed and the leopard will be caught soon. So that the villagers living in fear can breathe a sigh of relief.

On Thursday itself, UP Forest Minister Arun Saxena had reached Hapur. He had said that more cages will be installed to catch the leopard. Regarding the terror of wild animals in many districts of Uttar Pradesh, he said that UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very sensitive about the attacks of wolves and leopards. He has given clear and unambiguous instructions to the District DM and Commissioner and Forest Department officials that the conflict between wild animals and humans has to be stopped at all costs.

Wild animals also need to be protected and there should be no attack on humans by animals. The Forest Minister appealed not to kill wild animals and said that everyone is living on this earth. Everyone should live in co-existence.
