Lalu’s mega meeting, Tejashwi’s visit… this is how RJD is activating workers for the 2025 elections

Assembly elections are to be held in Bihar next year i.e. in 2025. Encouraged by the Lok Sabha election results, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), which is leading the opposition grand alliance, has started preparations for the assembly elections. RJD chief Lalu Yadav has called a mega meeting of party MLAs-MPs and leaders, while Tejashwi Yadav is preparing to go on a tour of Bihar this time too in an attempt to repeat the previous experiment. RJD has already started working on a strategy to activate its workers for the 2025 elections.

Lalu’s mega meeting

All the MPs, MLAs and Legislative Council members of RJD have been called in the meeting called by Lalu Yadav. Along with Tejashwi Yadav, almost all the big leaders of the party will be present in the meeting. The agenda of this meeting is said to be to discuss the preparations for the upcoming Aabhar Yatra of Tejashwi Yadav along with the Bihar elections.

Tejashwi’s visit from September 10

Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav is going to embark on Aabhar Yatra from September 10. This journey of Tejashwi Yadav is to continue till September 17. During this time, Tejashwi will visit Muzaffarpur, which is called the capital of North Bihar, as well as Darbhanga, Samastipur and Madhubani. During this time, Tejashwi Yadav will stay in each district for two days and will interact with RJD leaders, workers and local citizens. There is no program of public meeting of Tejashwi during Aabhar Yatra.

Strategy to activate workers

In the last Bihar elections, RJD emerged as the largest party but the Mahagathbandhan led by it missed the majority. This time RJD does not want to leave any stone unturned in the election preparations and that is why the party has already started preparations. Tejashwi has announced to reach all the 243 assembly constituencies of the state.

Just last month, Tejashwi Yadav had held a meeting with the office bearers of all the 17 cells of the party and had asked them to take the government jobs and other achievements of RJD to the public during its participation in Nitish Kumar’s government. Now Lalu Yadav’s mega meeting and Tejashwi’s tour are also part of the strategy to activate the workers.
