Lakhpati Didi Maha Sammelan was organized in Jalgaon, Maharashtra on Sunday. About 1.25 lakh women from different states of the country participated in this conference. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today honored 6 women of the country by giving them certificates. These include Sheetal Naret of Himachal Pradesh, Mehbooba of Shopian, Kashmir and Vandana Patil of Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Apart from these, certificates were given to three more women.
Meanwhile, Aaj Tak correspondent Manish Jog spoke to the women honoured by the Prime Minister. Among the honoured women, Sheetal Naret from Himachal Pradesh said that she earns 50 thousand to one lakh rupees every month under this scheme. Vandana Patil from Jalgaon, Maharashtra said that I am very happy with this honour and it is a matter of good fortune for me.

All working women should become lakhpati didi
Vandana Patil further said that she has received this honor because of the women working with her. I dedicate this honor to all of them. Meanwhile, Mehbooba, a resident of Shopian in Kashmir, said that she is very happy. I never thought that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would honor me. I want all the girls working with me to become Lakhpati Didi.
PM said this while addressing Lakhpati sisters
At the same time, PM Narendra Modi while addressing the Lakhpati sisters in the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan said that today the grand conference of Lakhpati Didi is being held here. My sisters are present here in large numbers. Today an amount of more than Rs 6,000 crore has been released. This money for lakhs of Sakhi Mandals here across the country will help make lakhs of sisters Lakhpati Didi. I also see the glorious culture and values of Maharashtra in all of you and the values of Maharashtra are spread not only in India but all over the world.
