In UP, from Lakhimpur Kheri to Bahraich, man-eating tigers and wolves have created terror. There is panic in more than 50 villages in Lakhimpur due to the man-eating tiger. Forest department teams are constantly searching for the tiger. The movement of the tiger has been recorded in the camera installed near the cage here. In the month of August, this man-eating tiger attacked five people, out of which four people died, since then there is fear and panic among the people of the villages adjacent to the forest.

There is fear of tiger in many villages of Lakhimpur in UP. Its paw marks have been found at many places, due to which there is fear among the people. One day before, the paw marks of the tiger were found and the next day the tiger was captured on camera. Actually, the forest department had installed 4 cages to catch the man-eating tiger. A camera was also installed near the cage. Along with this, surveillance was being done with two drone cameras. The movement of the tiger was seen during surveillance.

The area where the tiger was seen is about three and a half kilometers away from Imliya village. Here, the tiger’s pictures were captured in the camera near the cage installed on the banks of Sarai river near Banjaria village. The forest department says that this tiger has come out of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve.

Usually, the movement of tigers takes place at night, but on 27th August, this tiger had made a farmer, who had gone to fetch fodder during the day, its prey.

DFO Sanjay Biswal said that the area where the tiger was seen is a tiger sensitive zone. There are 17 tigers here. 7 live inside the forest. The rest also come out. This was the fourth incident of death due to tiger attack.

The tiger had attacked a 64-year-old farmer, but he survived. The people of the area were enraged by the four deaths in tiger attacks in the month of August alone and they blocked the highway. After the protests by the people, the forest department and police team are continuously searching for the man-eating tiger. They are also giving instructions to keep people safe through tiger friends.

Rescue operation is going on to catch two wolves in Bahraich

Wolf has created terror in Bahraich. Forest department teams are engaged in rescue operations here. Movement of 2 wolves has been seen here, which have not been caught yet. Monitoring is being done with the help of drones. Officials are inspecting. Chief Forest Officer Reenu Singh said that the wolves will be caught soon. Movement has been seen within a radius of 2 to 3 kilometers of Haribakshpura area. It is hoped that the wolf will be caught soon. So far four wolves have been caught, now only two are left.

When did the tiger attack in Lakhimpur Kheri,

  • On August 1, a tiger attacked a 10-year-old boy in the Kheri police station area, after which his body was found in a sugarcane field.
  • On August 2, a 9-year-old boy was killed by a tiger in Mainha village under Sharda Nagar police station area. His mutilated body was found in a sugarcane field.
  • On August 4, a 12-year-old girl was carried away by a tiger in the western beat of the Gola police station area; later, the girl’s body was recovered from a field.
  • On August 11, 64-year-old farmer Haripal, a resident of Bajaria village in the Hyderabad police station area, was attacked by a tiger, leaving him injured.
  • On August 27, 46-year-old Amrish Kumar, a resident of Imaliya village, had gone to his field to peel sugarcane leaves, when a tiger attacked him there. After this, Amrish’s body was found in the field.

DFO Sanjay Biswal said that catching the man-eating tiger remains a challenge for the forest department. The forest department is running the entire operation through several teams. Cages have been installed. The tiger’s location is being taken. Tigers sit in sugarcane fields. The tiger’s location has been found three and a half kilometers away from the incident spot. The department’s operation is continuing. There is also panic among the villagers.

Tigers and leopards that have come out of the forest of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in Lakhimpur Kheri have created terror in about 50 villages. In the month of August, four people have died and many have been injured due to their attack. On 27 August, Rajesh Kumar, about 45 years old, a resident of Imaliya village of Hyderabad police station area, had gone to collect fodder, when the tiger attacked him and dragged him away, after which his mutilated body was found in a sugarcane field.
