Lady doctor committed suicide after writing ‘You killed a smiling girl like me’, her husband who did MBBS from Russia used to doubt her character

A tragic incident has come to light in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Here, a 26-year-old newly married doctor committed suicide after being harassed by her husband. After getting information about this case, the police reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police has taken the body into custody and started investigating the case.

According to the agency, a police officer said that 26-year-old doctor Pratiksha Bhusare was married five months ago. Pratiksha was a medical officer in a private hospital in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Pratiksha committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan in her house on Sunday. Police said that Pratiksha has left a seven-page note accusing her husband of harassment. In the note, the husband has been held responsible for this incident.

Based on the complaint of the doctor’s family, a case has been registered against the husband in Cidco police station on the charges of dowry murder and abetment to suicide. The seven-page suicide note mentions the harassment done by the husband. The doctor has written that the husband used to question her character and he used to check her phone call records as well as messages.

Doctor Pratiksha got married on 27th March this year. The woman doctor’s father has alleged that since the daughter’s marriage, her husband was constantly pressuring her for dowry. He had done MBBS from Russia, he wanted to open his own hospital, and for this he was harassing her for money.

What did Dr. Pratiksha write in the suicide note?

‘Dear, I loved you so much. I forgot myself for you. You harassed a smiling girl like me and made her weak. You made a self-reliant girl dependent. I married you with many dreams that I will take care of you, support you in your career, we will have a small family.

I left everything on your insistence. You used to get angry if I talked to friends, relatives, parents, brother, so I did not talk to them much. Even then you were not satisfied. You asked me to change my mobile phone, I did. You argued for changing the number, I even agreed to it, but your doubt did not end. You kept doubting my character continuously. I swear in the name of God that I have been and will remain honest towards you. I have not done anything wrong.

I did not call mom and dad when I went to God. I did not like it, but I controlled myself. I had spent money on you before marriage. However, you argued that you had given money to your parents for the wedding expenses. I had earned that money with my hard work and with the help of my parents. I wanted to become a gynecologist, but you ruined everything.

When I am gone you will get a beautiful dowager wife. At least a second wife and be happy. I am asked for jobs. Friends are called to keep an eye on me. Even in the office I am intimidated. I loved you very much. Goodbye. Now you are a free bird.’
