Actually, the laborer found a sparkling gem quality diamond while digging. The laborer’s family took it to the diamond office located in Panna Joint Collectorate and deposited it in the office after getting the diamond weighed.
Diamond holder Raju Gond had set up the mine about two months ago by getting a lease from the diamond office in the name of his father Chunwada Gond. Raju, a tractor driver by profession, earns a living for himself and his family by working as a labourer. Along with this, he used to set up a diamond mine during the rainy season. He had set up a diamond mine in the Krishna Kalyanpur Patti area about two months ago by taking a lease from the Panna Diamond Office.

Raju found a sparkling diamond of 19 carat 22 cents of precious gem quality during excavation. Raju Gaur told that he had been mining diamonds for about 10 years before this and he was confident that one day he would definitely find a big diamond. Today he found a sparkling diamond in Krishna Kalyanpur Patti shallow diamond mine. The eyes of the laborer and his family were dazzled on seeing it.

When he reached the diamond office in Panna and got the diamond weighed, it turned out to be a big diamond of 19 carats and 22 cents. The labourer said that with the money he gets from the auction of the diamond, he will teach his children and give them a good education. Along with this, he will also buy land to improve the financial condition of the family. He will do farming on it.

Apart from this, he also has a debt of about four lakh rupees. He will break it now. The diamond inspector says that this is a gem quality diamond. It has a good demand in the market and it will be kept in the upcoming diamond auction. On the laborer finding a big diamond, Panna Collector Suresh Kumar expressed happiness for the laborer and said that the laborer has found a 19.22 carat diamond while digging a shallow diamond mine. Which has been deposited in the Panna Diamond Office today.
The collector estimated the price to be Rs 80 lakh
The collector said that the estimated price of this diamond is about 80 lakh rupees. This diamond will be put up for the next diamond auction. The person who places the highest bid in the auction will get the diamond. The diamond officer will transfer the remaining 80 percent amount to the account of the diamond holder leaseholder after deducting about 12 percent royalty from the amount received from the auction. A diamond expert in Panna has estimated the price of this diamond to be more than one crore.
