Based in Seoul Finecam have climbed sad tropicsAn upcoming action film by a Korean director Park Hoon-jung.
sad tropics This will be Park’s fourth film under Finecut new world (2013), V.I.P (2017) and The Witch: Part 1 The Subversion (2018).
Park’s latest film follows a group of young assassins who join the “Tristes Tropic,” an organization trained by the absolute ruler of a tropical rainforest named “The Master.” As they grapple with mistrust, they vow certain bloody revenge.
The film is scheduled to begin shooting in Thailand in September and is expected to wrap up by December.

Park began his career as a writer, writing Ryoo Seung-wan’s unjust (2010) and won the Best Screenplay Award for his work on the film at the 15th Fantasia International Film Festival. Park also wrote the screenplay for Kim Ji-woon I saw the devil (2010).
Park made his feature debut Showdown in 2010 and followed up with a hit film new world (2013), starring Lee Jung-ja. He also directed Night in heaven (2021), which was invited to the Out of Competition section of the Venice Film Festival.
sad tropics The director is produced by Park’s own production company Gold Moon Film and co-produced by Mindmark, a content studio owned by Shinsegae Group, whose recent slate includes A normal family, victory, Love Reset And Honey sweet.
