Kolkata Rape Murder Case: Was the doctor raped or gang-raped? CBI will now take the help of AIIMS to find out

The CBI, which is investigating the rape-murder case that took place at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, will consult experts from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on DNA and forensic reports. This is being done to strengthen the case. A CBI official said that this report will also help the investigating agency to find out whether Sanjay Roy is the only accused or there are other people involved in the crime. This way it will be clear whether the lady doctor was raped and then gang-raped. The whole country wants to know the answer to this question at this time.

The CBI is so far working on the fact that Sanjay Roy is the only accused in the crime, but the involvement of others will be ruled out only after getting the opinion of experts from AIIMS. The body of the junior doctor, who was raped and murdered, was found in the seminar hall of RG Kar Hospital on August 9. Kolkata Police arrested the main accused Sanjay Roy on August 10 based on CCTV footage.

Sanjay Roy was seen entering the seminar hall at 4.03 am on August 9.
