Kolkata rape-murder case: The accused takes a U-turn, now he says- I am innocent, let me do a polygraph test!

Sanjay Roy, accused of raping and murdering a lady doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College, has taken a U-turn. His lawyer Kabita Sarkar said that he wants a polygraph test to be conducted so that the truth can come out. He says that he is completely innocent. He is ready to cooperate with the CBI, which is investigating this case, in every way so that the real culprit can be caught.

Sanjay Roy’s lawyer Kabita Sarkar told India Today, “I was present when Sanjay’s consent was taken for the polygraph test. He gave his consent for the test. I personally explained to him what a polygraph test is. After this, he agreed. According to him, he is under a lot of mental pressure right now that he has committed this crime, but he wants the truth to come out.”

According to Kabita Sarkar, Sanjay Roy says that he is not involved in this case. Therefore, he is ready for any kind of test. He will cooperate in all the investigations of this case. The U-turn of Sanjay Roy, accused of brutalizing the lady doctor, is surprising. Because after his arrest, he himself confessed his crime. At that time, during interrogation in police custody, he had said, “Yes, I have committed a crime, hang me.”

Polygraph test will be conducted on 4 trainee doctors including former principal

The CBI Special Court has approved the polygraph test of accused Sanjay Roy. Earlier, polygraph test of 4 trainee doctors and former principal of the college Dr. Sandeep Ghosh has also been approved. Along with this, the Special Court of Sealdah sent the accused to 14 days judicial custody. Many important revelations have also been made from the psychoanalysis of the accused. A CBI official said that the psychoanalysis of the accused indicated that he was a perverted person.

Accused Sanjay Roy is also addicted to watching porn and drinking alcohol. Citing doctors of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) in New Delhi, the officer said that the accused, who was a civil volunteer, has ‘animal-like tendencies’. In this case, the CBI is also continuously questioning the former principal of RG Kar Medical College, Sandeep Ghosh. His role is also being suspected. The accused used to roam around the college as a bouncer for the former principal of the medical college.
