Kid’s Lunch Box Recipes: Prepare these tasty and healthy wraps for children in minutes, they will be happy

It can be very difficult to think about what to give children for lunch. Many people are troubled by their children’s habit of not eating healthy food. However, there are many recipes in which you can serve nutrition along with taste to your children. If you also want such a dish for your children, then you can make it with different fillings.

The special thing is that your children can easily hold them in their hands. In such a situation, wraps are a great option to give to children in lunch. Today we have brought some recipes of wraps for you.

Potato and Chickpea Wrap

Material:

  • Potato
  • Olive Oil
  • Onion
  • Cumin
  • Turmeric
  • Garam Masala
  • Chickpeas
  • Honey
  • Pea
  • Coriander leaves
  • Tortillas
  • Oil Spray
  • Black sesame seeds

Process:

1.Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.

2. Boil the potatoes and mash them well. Keep them aside for some time.

3. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium-high flame.

4. Add a chopped onion and cook until soft. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and 2 teaspoons garam masala. Fry the onion well with the spices for a minute.

5. Now add the mashed potatoes to the onion mixture. Add 3 tablespoons of water. Add washed chickpeas, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 cup peas and freshly chopped coriander leaves. Mix everything well for 2 minutes.

6. Fill the potato-chickpea mixture in equal amounts in the tortillas. Place the filled tortillas on a tray. After this, sprinkle oil and sesame seeds. Bake well for 10 minutes and serve garnished with coriander.

Veggie Wrap

Veggie Wrap Recipe

Material:

  • Bread
  • Oil
  • Cumin
  • Green onions
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Mix Vegetables
  • chilli powder
  • turmeric powder
  • Garam Masala Powder
  • Tomato Ketchup
  • Salt

Process:

1. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame, add ½ teaspoon cumin seeds and wait for them to crackle.

2. Add 1 finely chopped green onion to the pan and stir in the oil for a minute. Now add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and fry the green onion for a minute.

3. Add finely chopped vegetables of your choice. Cook them for about 5-6 minutes. Add ½ teaspoon garam masala, ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, ½ chili powder and 3 to 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup. Mix everything well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

4. Spread this mixture evenly on the roti and lightly fry it on the pan.

Cheesy Tortilla Wrap

Cheesy Wrap Recipe

Material:

  • mozzarella cheese
  • Oil
  • Cumin
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Green chilly
  • coriander powder
  • chilli powder
  • turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • Dried Mango Powder(Amchur)
  • Garam Masala Powder
  • Coriander leaves
  • Potato
  • 6 flour tortillas/maida rotis
  • Green chutney
  • Nylon Sev
  • Onion

Process:

1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds crackle, add 1 finely chopped ginger, 3 finely chopped garlic cloves and 1 green chilli. Stir them together for 1-2 minutes. Now add 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1⁄2 teaspoon red chili powder, 1⁄2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon dried mango powder, 1⁄2 teaspoon garam masala powder and 2 tablespoons chopped coriander.

2. After this, add mashed potatoes to the pan and cook well until the masala gets mixed with the potatoes. Remove it from the gas and keep it aside.

3. Place a flour tortilla or atta roti on a flat surface. Using a sharp knife, cut the tortilla in half.

4. To make the filling for the cheesy tortilla wrap, first divide the tortilla into four parts. Spread 2 tsp of green chutney on the bottom left portion. Place 2 tbsp of the previously prepared potato mixture on the top portion, press it down and spread it. Sprinkle 2 tsp of nylon sev over the potato mixture. Add some vinegared onions. Finally, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.

5. Lift the bottom left part of the cheesy tortilla wrap and fold it over the potato part and press gently. Next, fold this part to the right over the onion. Finally, fold it over the cheese part. The cheesy tortilla wrap is now ready to be cooked.

6. Heat 1/4 teaspoon oil in a pan over medium flame, cook each wrap for 1-2 minutes on one side until golden, then flip and cook for 1 minute until cheese melts.
