Kid’s Lunch Box Recipe: Make this wonderful lunchbox recipe with oats, it is full of nutrition along with spicy taste, know the process of making it

Packing lunch for children can be quite challenging. Children eat many dishes at home, but refuse to eat the same thing in school. In such a situation, packing lunch boxes for children becomes very difficult. Not only this, along with making new dishes for them, it is also the responsibility of the parents to take care of their nutrition. In such a situation, making something light as well as nutritious becomes very tough. Keeping both these things in mind, we have brought oats recipe for you.

These oats recipes are not only easy to make but are also loaded with essential nutrients. Adding them to your child’s lunch box will keep your child full of energy all day long. From overnight oats to oat muffins, we have brought you some oats recipes. Let’s find out.

Masala Oats:

Material:

Process:

1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and let them crackle.

2. Add green chillies and onions, mix well and sauté till the onions turn golden.

3. Add tomatoes and salt, reduce flame, cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

4. Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well.

5. Add oats, 4 cups of water and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Add a tablespoon of coriander leaves and mix well.

6. Garnish with remaining coriander leaves and serve hot.

Oats Dosa:

Material:

Process:

1. Put the soaked urad dal in a mixer jar. Add soaked dal, soaked fenugreek seeds, oats and 1 cup water and grind it finely. Keep it aside for 6-8 hours to ferment.

2. Add salt and mix well.

3. Heat a non-stick pan. Pour a ladle of batter and spread it in a clockwise direction to make it round and thin. Drizzle oil and cook for 2 minutes. Fold in half and place on a serving plate.

4. Serve hot with coconut chutney.

Vegetable Oats Pancakes:

Material:

Process:

1. Add all the ingredients except fruit salt in a deep bowl along with 1 cup water and mix well to make a thick paste.

2. Just before making the pancakes, sprinkle fruit salt and 2 teaspoons of water over the batter.

3. When bubbles form, mix gently.

4. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it using ¼ tsp oil.

5. Pour one spoon of the mixture over it and spread it in a clockwise direction to make a thick circle.

6. Drizzle ¼ tsp oil and cook till it turns light brown on both sides.

7. Repeat the same process with the remaining batter to make 4 more pancakes.

8. Serve immediately with Dahiwali Mint Chutney.
