The car of Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya’s son met with an accident in Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday night. An unknown vehicle hit the car of the Deputy CM’s son and fled. Keshav Maurya’s son Yogesh Maurya, daughter-in-law Anjali and granddaughter Agrima, who were in the car, narrowly escaped and all are out of danger. The accident took place near Durga Hotel on Unchahar Road in Jagatpur police station area.
Yogesh Maurya was returning to his home in Prayagraj from his in-laws’ house Pichwara in Jagatpur, Raebareli. He had come here to pick up his wife Anjali. While returning to Prayagraj, an uncontrolled truck hit his car in front of Durga Hotel on Unchahar Road. On receiving the information, police and administrative officials reached the spot. A police team rescued Yogesh Maurya and his family safely, while another team started searching for the vehicle responsible for the accident.
Thankfully, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya’s son Yogesh, his wife Anjali and daughter Agrima did not suffer any injuries. They were immediately taken to the local CHC for medical checkup. After waiting here for some time, all three left for their destination in another vehicle. The truck was going towards Prayagraj. The axle of the Deputy CM’s son’s car broke due to the collision. The police is examining the CCTV camera footage to find out about the truck that hit the truck.
