Keshav Maurya called a meeting of DGP and senior police officers and gave these instructions

There has been a ruckus in Uttar Pradesh BJP since the Lok Sabha elections 2024. It is being claimed that everything is not going well between Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the senior leadership. At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Maurya is also being held responsible for this to some extent. Meanwhile, on Monday, Maurya held a meeting with senior police officers in the Legislative Council regarding law and order. DGP and senior police officers were present in the meeting.

During the meeting, Maurya instructed senior officers to focus on solving public problems on priority basis at police stations and to try to curb rising corruption and incidents related to cyber crime. At the same time, there is also a discussion about why Maurya called a meeting related to law and order?

Maurya had called the meeting as he was the leader of the house

Keshav Maurya is the leader of the House i.e. the leader of the House in the Legislative Council. This meeting is held every time a day before the House begins. This was the reason why Keshav held a meeting of senior officials on Monday.

He has also shared information on X regarding this meeting. In which he has said that a meeting of Uttar Pradesh Director General Mr. Prashant Kumar and other senior police officers was called in the Legislative Council on Monday. In the meeting, instructions were given to solve the problems of the public on priority basis at the police stations and to improve all the arrangements including efforts to stop the increasing corruption and incidents related to cyber crime.
