Meanwhile, on Monday, Maurya held a meeting with senior police officers in the Legislative Council regarding law and order. DGP and senior police officers were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Maurya instructed senior officers to focus on solving public problems on priority basis at police stations and to try to curb rising corruption and incidents related to cyber crime. Maurya had called the meeting as he was the leader of the house
Keshav Maurya is the leader of the House i.e. the leader of the House in the Legislative Council. This meeting is held every time a day before the House begins. This was the reason why Keshav held a meeting of senior officials on Monday.
He has also shared information on X regarding this meeting. In which he has said that a meeting of Uttar Pradesh Director General Mr. Prashant Kumar and other senior police officers was called in the Legislative Council on Monday. In the meeting, instructions were given to solve the problems of the public on priority basis at the police stations and to improve all the arrangements including efforts to stop the increasing corruption and incidents related to cyber crime.
