How many cases in last 24 hours

So far this year, 9 thousand 82 cases of dengue have been found in Karnataka. The Health and Family Welfare Department of Karnataka has given an update on the figures. According to this, a total of 424 positive cases of dengue have been registered in the state in the last 24 hours. If we talk about the beginning of this year till now, 9082 cases have been registered.

7 people died due to dengue

According to the health department, 119 patients suffering from dengue are being treated in the hospital. Not a single death has been registered in 24 hours, but so far this year seven people have lost their lives due to dengue. The department claims that 2 thousand 557 people were tested on July 13. Whereas this year a total of 66 thousand 298 people have been tested. This government report shows that in the last 24 hours, 4 children aged between zero to one year were found suffering from dengue.

Government is active

The government has set up a war room to protect people from dengue. A circular issued by the government on July 10 directed that the move is aimed at enhancing surveillance and management of dengue cases to minimise the impact of the disease. These war rooms will act as important centres for data collection and situation assessment, ensuring coordinated and timely response to the dengue crisis.
