A young man who had left home after a fight was going to commit suicide by jumping into the Ganga river. At the last moment, the police saved him from jumping off the bridge. After this, the police department is praising the officer’s presence of mind. Also, the video of saving the young man from jumping off the railing is also going viral.
This entire incident is being reported from Sunday evening. Kunal Kashyap, a resident of Chhoti Bibi Haata in Cantt police station area, came home drunk. There was a quarrel between him and his family over this issue. Kunal left the house saying that he will commit suicide and reached the bridge at Ganga Ghat.
The young man was about to jump into the Ganges sitting on the railing of the bridge
Kunal sat on the railing of Ganga bridge with both his legs hanging. His father kept pleading with folded hands not to do so. Meanwhile, someone called the police. After this, a PRB vehicle arrived at the spot. The young man kept looking at his father and talking to him. As soon as he reached there, the policeman smartly went towards the young man and caught him and took him down from the railing.
The family members rebuked him for drinking alcohol
According to ACP Cantt, the young man’s father Kamal Kishore has told that Kunal had come home drunk. Due to this, the family members had scolded him. After a fight, Kunal had left the house saying that he would commit suicide. The police have caught the young man and handed him over to the family.
