Former block pramukh Nawab Singh has been arrested in the case of attempted rape of a minor in Kannauj. New twists are coming one after the other in this case. First the accused was accused of being associated with SP. Then Samajwadi Party said that he was close to BJP leaders. After this, the rape of the victim was confirmed in the medical test and she also mentioned rape in her statement before the magistrate.
Now in this entire case, the aunt of the suspected victim was accused of taking her to Nawab Singh. The aunt has absconded before giving testimony. In search of her, the police team has gone out to raid possible hideouts outside UP. According to the SP, the aunt was called for questioning on Tuesday itself, but she did not come. The police have also registered a case against the victim’s aunt and are searching for her.

According to the police, the victim’s aunt took her to the accused in the name of getting her a job. The accused’s bail plea was to be heard in the court of POCSO judge Alka Yadav today. Before that, the aunt absconded. The police say that at the time of the incident, the victim had called her aunt for help, but she started convincing her and started talking to Nawab Singh.

The victim’s aunt had claimed that Nawab Singh was being framed. She had gone to Nawab Singh’s college with her niece to express condolences on the demise of his mother. The victim has made the allegations after being misled. Now when the rape was confirmed, and the aunt had to go to testify, she absconded.
