The medical test of the minor victim of the Kannauj case has confirmed rape, after which the police have increased the charges of rape against former block pramukh Nawab Singh Yadav. Earlier, the victim had also mentioned rape in her statement before the magistrate. Based on the victim’s statement, the police can also tighten the noose on the aunt.
Kannauj SP Amit Kumar Anand said that the victim has confirmed the rape incident in her statement before the magistrate. He said, “With the confirmation of rape, charges have been added against the accused under the relevant section of the crime.”
According to the news agency, the SP said that the aunt who took the victim to Nawab Singh was also called for questioning on Tuesday, but she did not appear before the police. He said that a case will also be registered against the aunt of the minor victim in the case and the police is currently searching for her.

According to the police, the accused is the manager of a private college and had called the girl and her aunt to the college on Sunday night on the pretext of helping the teenager get a job. Officials said that the accused’s bail plea is to be heard in the court of POCSO judge Alka Yadav on Wednesday i.e. today.

She also hinted that three to four Brahmin leaders of the SP are involved in the conspiracy, but she refrained from naming them and promised to reveal those names later.
