In Kannauj, the DNA sample of SP leader and former block pramukh Nawab Singh Yadav has matched with the minor rape victim. With this, the rape of the victim has been confirmed. This has been revealed in the forensic test report. After the DNA sample match, Nawab Singh’s troubles have increased further. Now along with the rape of the minor, the police will file a charge sheet under the POCSO Act.

On the night of 11th August, former block pramukh Nawab Singh Yadav raped a minor girl in Kannauj. During this, the victim called the police by dialling 112 and informed them about the matter, after which 112 and Kotwali police team reached the spot. When the police reached there, the victim’s aunt was also present there, so the police took the aunt into custody and interrogated her.

After receiving the complaint from the victim, the police registered a case and the victim was medically examined with the consent of her family. The medical examination confirmed rape. After this, the police arrested the accused under various sections.

The second accused in this rape case is the victim’s aunt, who had brought the minor from Lucknow to Nawab Singh Yadav’s college. She was present outside the room at the time of the incident. The victim had called out to her, but she did not help. The police have arrested both Nawab Singh and the victim’s aunt.

‘Nawab Singh Yadav called at night, said- come to college…’ The victim’s aunt told the whole story of coming to Kannauj from Lucknow

During interrogation, the rape victim’s aunt told the police that she knew Nawab Singh for about 5-6 years. It also came to light that she had a physical relationship with Nawab Singh. Earlier, she had tried to mislead the police investigation. The victim’s aunt had said that Nawab Singh was being framed and some Brahmin leaders of SP were behind this.

Bulldozer action on a close relative of Nawab Singh

Earlier, the administration had also taken bulldozer action on the illegal property of a close relative of Nawab Singh. The boundary wall of Banke Bihari Cold Storage in Tirwa, which was built on 450 square meters of government land, was demolished. A notice was earlier given regarding this that the illegal occupation should be removed within seven days, but when the occupation was not removed, the wall of the cold storage was demolished in a few minutes.
