Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested for attempting to rape a minor. He is currently in jail but meanwhile his picture is going viral on social media. In one picture, he is seen with SP Amit Anand, in which he is being felicitated for good work – who later also ordered his arrest.
Nawab Singh Yadav was arrested by the police on Monday and sent to jail. It is being said that he was felicitated for good work on 4th August. The honour was given by the SP of Kannauj himself, who later ordered his arrest. It is being told that when a case was registered against Nawab Singh Yadav, it was found that 16 other cases are registered against him. Cases have been registered thrice in Kannauj’s city police station and Tirwa police station under sections like Goonda Act and attempt to murder.

Nawab Singh Yadav accused of attempted rape
Nawab Singh Yadav is accused of attempting to rape a 15-year-old minor. It is being told that at 1.30 in the night, the police received a phone call on number 112. The police team said that the call was from a minor girl, who complained that an attempt was made to rape her.
Nawab Singh was arrested in an objectionable condition
Kannauj SP Amit Kumar Anand said, “The call came from a minor girl who said that her clothes were removed and an attempt was made to assault her.” The police team reached the spot after the complaint and arrested Nawab Singh Yadav in an ‘objectionable’ situation.

The minor told the police about his ordeal
During interrogation, the minor said that she had gone to Navah Singh Yadav’s house with her aunt and was told that she had to go there for a job. A case was registered under the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act. The accused has been arrested and the case is under investigation.
