In Kannauj, UP, Yusuf, a salon worker who used spit for massage, has been arrested. Along with this, his salon has also been bulldozed. It is being said that Yusuf’s salon shop was built by illegally encroaching on government land. In such a situation, the Nagar Panchayat administration got this encroachment removed.

When they complained to the police, they found out that the video was from Kannauj district. After this, the police took immediate action and arrested Yusuf and sent him to jail. After this, the Nagar Panchayat administration also demolished his salon which had been encroached illegally with a bulldozer.
Accused Yusuf had a salon shop in Talgram police station area of the district. Yusuf was caught here using spit while massaging his customer’s face. His video went viral. People got angry over this. Hindu organizations expressed anger. After which the local police took action and arrested him and sent him to jail.

Former BJP MP from Kannauj Subrat Pathak had also reacted to the video of spit massage. He had called this act ‘spit jihad’ on his ex account. Subrat Pathak wrote- ‘This spit jihad incident is from Talgram of Kannauj. Police will do its job but we have to be careful, these jihadis are not related to anyone.
