The Indian-origin US Vice President will now contest the presidential election. She has announced her candidacy. She gave this information in one of her social media posts. Kamala Harris said that she has signed the forms for her candidature and officially announces that she will contest the presidential election.

Kamala Harris has the support of all the big leaders of the Democratic Party including President Joe Biden. From former President Barack Obama to former House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, everyone is in her support. Joe Biden also gave his support to Kamala Harris after withdrawing from the candidature. He shared his experience and said that she could be made the candidate of the Democrats.

Why will Joe Biden not contest the presidential election?

President Joe Biden decided not to contest the presidential election again after pressure from party leaders and supporters. He is 81 years old and has often been trolled for his age. It is said that he has a problem of memory loss and this problem has allegedly been seen many times on stage as well. Biden has been trolled a lot for this in the last few months.
