There is no end to the troubles of minority Hindus in Bangladesh. After facing attacks and atrocities, Hindus are now being forced to resign from government jobs. About 50 Hindu academics have been forced to resign since August 5.

This was revealed by Bangladesh Chhatra Aikya Parishad, the student organisation of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Aikya Parishad, in a press conference on Saturday. Aaj Tak has obtained the list of teachers who have resigned. Shukla Roy, Principal, Government Bakarganj College Principal Shukla Roy shared her photo and wrote, “I resign”. She resigned by writing just this.

Some teachers spoke to Aaj Tak and confirmed the resignation of Hindu teachers in Bangladesh. Sanjoy Kumar Mukherjee, Associate Professor, Department of Public Administration and Governance Studies, Kazi Nazrul University, Bangladesh said, “Dada, I am Sanjoy Kumar Mukherjee, Associate Professor, Department of Public Administration and Governance Studies, Kazi Nazrul University, Bangladesh. I was forced to resign from the post of Proctor and Head of Department. We are very insecure at this time.”

The situation of Hindus in Bangladesh is serious
