Bollywood actor John Abraham follows a very strict lifestyle. He is very particular about his diet and sleeping-waking time and is never seen in parties etc. But if it comes to partying with superstar Shahrukh Khan, will John refuse?
The answer is that John has already done this. Veda’ star John Abraham has told how after ‘Pathan’ he once refused to party with Shahrukh. However, instead of getting angry, the King Khan of the industry gave John a wonderful gift.
The team of the film ‘Veda’ arrived as guests on comedian Zakir Khan’s TV show ‘Aapka Apna Zakir’ on Sunday. Along with director Nikhil Advani, John, actress Sharvari Wagh and the film’s actor Abhishek Banerjee also arrived on Zakir’s show.
On the show, John shared an anecdote about the success party of his film ‘Pathan’ with Shahrukh. John told that he did not go to this party, but Shahrukh fulfilled one of his wishes. John said, ‘My last film ‘Pathan’ was with Shahrukh Khan. I remember, after the release of the film, a success party was organized and Shahrukh told me, ‘Come on John, let’s party! Our film is running. It has got a good opening.’ I said that I want to stay at home and sleep. So he said what do you want? I said just give me a motorcycle. So he gifted me a motorcycle. I went home happily.’
Recently, John had praised Shah Rukh on a podcast. On Ranveer Allahabadia’s podcast, John had described Shah Rukh as ‘smart, intelligent, but at the same time very caring and cute’. John had also told how his bonding with Shah Rukh was very good on the shoot of ‘Pathan’. While Shah Rukh played the hero in ‘Pathan’, John played the role of Jim, the villain of the story.
Last year’s ‘Pathan’ was Shahrukh’s comeback film and it earned a lot at the box office. After the success of the film, John gifted himself a Suzuki Hayabusa bike worth 17 lakhs. How much John is fond of bikes is not hidden from any Bollywood fan.
