The Srinagar-based Army’s Chinar Corps wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Three terrorists have been killed in the ongoing anti-infiltration operation on the Line of Control in Keran sector. Weapons and other war material have also been recovered.”

However, the Army did not clarify whether there were any casualties on both sides in the ongoing operation. The Srinagar-based Army’s Chinar Corps posted on Twitter that an infiltration attempt was foiled along the LoC in Keran Sector, Kupwara today.

On 8th July 2024, in the Badnota area of ​​Kathua, a group of heavily armed terrorists ambushed the patrolling army, in which five soldiers were martyred and eight soldiers were injured. It is worth noting that in recent times, there has been an increase in terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, these have happened during the ongoing Amarnath Yatra.
