Now the company is testing its 5G service. The company has still not been able to fully roll out its 4G service, but now preparations are being made for 5G. Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has shared a clip of the service of government telecom operator BSNL.
Telecom Minister shared the video
He made a video call through BSNL 5G and shared the video on X. Recently, BSNL has seen an increase in its subscriber base. Sharing the clip of this video call, Jyotiraditya Scindia wrote, ‘Connecting India! Just tried BSNL 5G enabled phone call.’

This is a very short clip. Jyotiraditya Scindia took the hands-on experience of BSNL 5G call at C-Dot Campus. During the call, a person standing near the Telecom Minister told that this call was made on BSNL 5G.
According to the latest reports, BSNL has added 27.5 lakh consumers to its portfolio. This increase in subscriber rates has happened after the services of other telecom companies became expensive.
When will BSNL 5G service be launched?
Last month, Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that the government is working fast to launch BSNL and MTNL 4G and 5G services. BSNL’s work is being monitored every day. The minister said that even though the launch of BSNL’s service is getting delayed, people will be proud of this service and will have to wait a little for it.
BSNL has launched its 4G service in some circles, but it has not been rolled out pan India. On the other hand, there are players like Jio and Airtel, who have launched their 5G service and are expanding it. BSNL’s service is definitely cheap, but for this consumers have to make many compromises. It is expected that the company will soon launch its 4G and 5G service.
