A shocking incident has come to light from Gumla, Jharkhand. In Patgachha village of Gumla, a father killed his 9-year-old daughter and threw the body in a well. As soon as the police got the information, they recovered the body and arrested the accused father.
The incident took place in Patgachha village under Katari Panchayat of Gumla police station area. It is being told that on Friday evening around 8 o’clock, a person named Sarju Lohara killed his daughter Kajal Kumari with a spade and threw the body in the well of Mandal Mahato of the village. The accused himself informed his relatives about the incident over the phone.
On Saturday, Kotam police station in-charge Manoranjan Sharma and SI Vivek reached the spot and took the body out of the well and took it into custody. During interrogation of the accused by the police, it was found that his wife lives in Mumbai and his daughter Kajal Kumari was handicapped and mentally retarded. The accused said that he was unable to take care of his daughter, so he took this step.
The police have sent the body to Sadar Hospital Gumla for postmortem. This heart-wrenching incident has shocked the entire village and strict action is being demanded against the accused father.
