Jharkhand constable recruitment process postponed for three days, CM ordered these changes

There is a stir in Jharkhand due to the death of about 11 candidates during the physical test in the constable recruitment exam. These candidates died while running in different districts. After this incident, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has ordered to postpone the recruitment process for three days and make some changes. According to the orders, from now on the race will not be organized after 9 am. If the health of any candidate deteriorates, he will be immediately taken to the doctor. Doctors will be arranged at the physical exam center itself.

Hemant Soren tweeted on his Twitter handle and wrote that the untimely death of the participants during the race in the recruitment process of excise constable is sad and heartbreaking. While directing the immediate review of the rules made by the previous government, we have instructed to make changes in the rules for all future restorations of this type, along with this, instructions have also been given to make a proposal to provide immediate relief from the government to the unfortunately affected and bereaved family in this process.

Exam postponed for three days

The tweet further read that as a precaution, we have instructed to postpone this recruitment process for the next 3 days. The race will not be organized after 9 am in any case. There will be adequate arrangements of doctors for those candidates who feel the need for a health test before the race and there will be arrangements for breakfast / fruits for the participants at all the competition venues so that no one participates in the race on an empty stomach.

Formation of a team of health experts

The CM further wrote in the tweet that what are the reasons behind the relatively healthy/fit people of our village-society getting injured in the ongoing physical examination, what changes have taken place in the health of the general public in the last 3-4 years in the country including Jharkhand? To review the reasons for the untimely death of these youth, so that such accidents do not happen in future, we have also constituted a committee of health experts and directed them to give a consultation report.

So many candidates died

It is worth noting that the Sepoy recruitment exam was going on in Jharkhand. This exam is being conducted at seven centers in Ranchi, Giridih, Hazaribagh, Palamu, East Singhbhum and Sahebganj districts. For this, physical test was being taken first. Candidates who pass the physical test will be able to appear in the written exam. Police say that during this period 1 death has occurred in Ranchi, 4 in Hazaribagh and Giridih, 4 in Palamu, 2 in Musabani and Sahebganj. Police spokesperson AV Homkar said that a case has been registered and the matter is being investigated. He has described the death of the candidates as unfortunate. At the same time, doctors say that those who have not practiced may have some problem.
