JDU MP from Sitamarhi, Bihar, Devesh Chandra Thakur has targeted JDU and its alliance partner BJP. During a program, Thakur said that ‘all parties tried hard to defeat us in the Lok Sabha elections, RJD was our rival but we did not know whether JDU and BJP were ahead of us or behind us’. ‘I have won this election not because of BJP or JDU but because of my personal work and personal relationships done over the last 20 years’.
