Jaya Prada’s visit to Old Rajendra Nagar proved costly, students sent her back and said- don’t do politics

The anger among the students after the incident in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi is not subsiding. Everyone is angry with the administration over the death of three children due to water logging in the basement of Rau IAS coaching. Meanwhile, former BJP MP and actress Jaya Prada reached among the protesting children in Old Rajendra Nagar and talked to them but the students present there did not like Jaya Prada’s sympathy. When Jaya Prada talked to the students, she got the reply that she should not come here and do politics.

Jaya Prada reached Old Rajendra Nagar and told the students that ‘I respect all of you. I understand your pain, you have been sitting here for four days. I am a mother and I also have a son. I have come from Hyderabad only for you. All of you are like my children, I tried to understand what you people are saying. They say that AAP has disappointed the people of Delhi, do you people only want to earn money. We will become your voice’. Hearing these words of Jaya Prada, the students got angry and started abusing the actress.

Listening to Jaya Prada, the protesting students said that ‘Your party is in the centre which appoints MCD commissioner, LG, you are equally responsible. The students further said that your children study abroad, first sit with us for an hour and then speak but do not politicise the issue’. The students protesting in front of Jaya Prada also raised slogans of ‘Go Back’.
