In the case of kidnapping of a child in Jaipur a year ago, the police arrested the kidnapper and handed over the child to his mother after 14 months. But when the police arrested the accused Tanuj Chahar and brought him from Agra to Jaipur, something happened inside the police station which shocked everyone. The innocent child started insisting to go to the kidnapper instead of mother Prithvi.
Not only this, the child hugged the kidnapper and started crying loudly. Seeing this scene, tears started flowing from the eyes of the kidnapper as well as the policemen present there and everyone started wondering what kind of relationship the child has with the kidnapper that he is getting so emotional with the kidnapper instead of his mother.
The whole matter is related to love affair
Actually the whole case is related to a love affair. The lover in this case is Tanuj Chahar who is a suspended head constable of UP police and is currently accused of kidnapping a child in the eyes of Jaipur police. But the kidnapper is claiming that this child is his and he should be given back to him.
He says that the police can get his DNA test done but this child is his. If police sources are to be believed, the child’s mother is the daughter of kidnapper Tanuj’s aunt, whom he has been in love with for many years. But when the girl’s family came to know about his love, a Khap Panchayat was held in the village. After this, out of respect, the family secretly got the girl married in Jaipur.
Behaved with girlfriend’s husband
Despite being separated from his love, Tanuj left his job as a policeman and became a beggar to get his girlfriend back. Not only this, in search of her, he spent nights on the footpaths of Jaipur for a year and earned his living by working as a labourer. When the search for his girlfriend was completed, Tanuj gave wings to his love again.
It is being told that the accused Tanuj gradually started behaving with his girlfriend’s husband and then started visiting her house. Not only this, the girlfriend’s husband also used to leave his wife with Tanuj sometimes while going to office. Meanwhile, the girl also told her husband about her love. Then after a few months she became pregnant and gave birth to Prithvi but then suddenly she broke off her relationship with Tanuj.
Kidnapped on 14 June 2023
Due to the differences, quarrels started. Tanuj started pressuring her and asked her to come with him along with the child. When this did not work out, on 14 June 2023 last year, he forcibly picked up his girlfriend’s 11-month-old child from her house and kidnapped him. Now when the police recovered the child, he is more than 2 years old.
During this time, the accused absconded in many states but did not let even a scratch come to the child. While in most cases of kidnapping, the accused threaten to demand ransom and kill, but in this case nothing like this happened. It is also not that the child’s family did not receive calls from the kidnapper. The calls did come but not for ransom but to inquire about the well-being of the child’s mother.
He even left his wife for his girlfriend
Meanwhile, the accused himself became a sadhu but kept fulfilling the child’s desire for new clothes and toys. It is not that the accused Tanuj is not married, rather he has a 21-year-old son but he left his wife for his girlfriend, who has now filed a maintenance case against the accused Tanuj.
