Action has been taken against Jailor Deepak Sharma for brandishing a pistol at a party in Delhi’s Seemapuri police station area. After the video went viral on social media, Tihar DG has suspended Deepak Sharma. Apart from this, the investigation of the matter has also been handed over to a Tihar officer. Deepak Sharma is currently the Assistant Jail Superintendent of Mandoli Jail.
Actually, Deepak Sharma had reached the birthday party of the husband of a BJP corporator from Ghonda on Thursday evening. The event was organised near Seemapuri police station. Here in the party, Deepak Sharma was dancing with some other people on the song ‘Nayak Nahi, Khalnayak Hoon Main’. Meanwhile, he took out the pistol from the cover on his waist and started dancing while waving it.

During this, a person present in the party recorded the video of his dance with a pistol on his phone and later made it viral on social media. After this, Deepak Sharma became the target of people. On social media, people started demanding action from Delhi Police and Tihar Jail administration for such an act. On the other hand, after the video came to notice, the Tihar Jail administration ordered an investigation into the matter. Along with this, Tihar DG ordered the suspension of Jailor Deepak Sharma.
Investigation is also being done regarding the license of pistol
It is being told that Delhi Police is investigating the matter that whose pistol Deepak Sharma waved was it. Was it his official pistol or someone else’s? Further action will be decided after investigation. According to DCP Shahdara Surendra Chaudhary, he is investigating the matter. It is being checked whether this weapon was licensed or not or whether it belonged to Deepak Sharma or not? Delhi Police is also going to write a letter to the Tihar Jail officials regarding this.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar had made allegations of extortion
