Actor Arjun Rampal has spoken openly about his divorce from model Meher Jessia. In an interview, he admitted that perhaps he got married at a very young age. Arjun married Meher in 1998. He has two daughters from this, named Mahika and Myra. The couple got divorced in 2019. After this, Arjun Rampal’s relationship started with model Gabriella Demetriades, with whom the actor now has a son. The actor told that now his relationship with Meher Jessia is very strong and both his daughters with Meher get along well with Gabriella.

Talking about divorce in The Ranveer Podcast, Arjun Rampal said, “It is human nature to blame someone else. It happens because things are not going well. You are unhappy and sad. And if you cannot look inside yourself and find happiness, things will fall apart.” The actor was asked if being single after being in a long relationship really feels like a shock. To this, he said, “It feels lonely, yes. You suddenly feel that you are free, but you do not get peace, you are not comfortable. You miss stability, you miss coming back home and missing food.”
Arjun said that one person cannot be blamed for the failure of a relationship. It is important to think about the mistakes that have been made. He said, ‘It is important that you isolate yourself by closing all the doors and windows and think about yourself. This is what I did. You understand that you had many shortcomings. Yes, the other person also had shortcomings, but in the end you have to fix yourself. You have to recover and return as a stronger person, because you have responsibilities towards many other people who are a part of all this.’

Arjun was too young to get married
He said that you should separate with love and dignity, because that is how relationships start. Arjun Rampal said, ‘It is very difficult. It is not easy. It is not easy for anyone, including children. It is most difficult for them. You don’t want this. I myself come from a broken home and for me, my marriage not working was something that I looked back on and thought about what went wrong, and I take responsibility for it. Today, thankfully, we are all very close. We love each other and always support each other.’
Arjun Rampal was asked if he felt he was too young to get married. To this he replied, “It is difficult. I think 20 or 30 is very young. I was 24 when I got married, it was too early. There are many experiences in life and you have to mature more. Men mature slower than women. It has been proven that we are fools. If you want a successful marriage, wait, or I may be wrong.”
