Israeli army rescued a hostage from Hamas captivity, wreaked havoc in Gaza

The war between Hezbollah and Israel in Lebanon may have stopped, but the Israeli army’s havoc continues in Gaza. On Monday, once again, a massive airstrike was carried out on the Palestinians living in Gaza. At least seven people, including four children and a woman, were killed in an Israeli attack on a refugee camp in Deir al-Balah, while a dozen people were injured.

At the same time, IDF and ISA have claimed the rescue of a 52-year-old hostage Qaid Farhan al-Qadi in Gaza. Qaid was kidnapped by Hamas fighters after the attack on October 7. After this, he was brought to Gaza and held hostage. According to IDF, the condition of the released hostage is stable. He has been sent to the hospital for medical examination. His family has been given full information.

On the other hand, the Israeli attack in Gaza happened at a time when the UN was going to start a vaccination campaign to prevent polio in Deir al-Balah. The United Nations says that 6 lakh 40 thousand children of Gaza will be vaccinated against polio and for this, a consignment of vaccine has already been sent to Deir al-Balah. Under this, about 12 lakh vaccine doses are being brought. But the war is becoming an obstacle.

The UN is going to start a vaccination campaign after a polio case was reported in Gaza for the first time in the last 25 years. A few days ago, a 10-month-old child was found suffering from polio here. Along with this, the polio virus was found in the wastewater of two major cities of Gaza. Thousands of Palestinians are living in tents to escape the Israeli bombing that has been going on for the last 10 months. There is a lot of filth spread there.

Let us tell you that on Sunday, thousands of protesters took out a march in Tel Aviv. They appealed to the Israeli government to reach an agreement for the release of the hostages. The family and friends of the hostages fear that if the war in Gaza continues for a long time, more hostages will be killed. Thousands of people who have been protesting in Tel Aviv for a long time are demanding the resignation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his entire government.

The protesters claim that Netanyahu and his government are completely incapable of releasing the hostages and running the country. This protest took place at a time when the final round of talks is going on in the Egyptian capital Cairo to end the war that has been going on in Gaza for the last 10 months. Israeli representatives are present in the talks being mediated by the US, Qatar and Egypt, but Hamas is not participating in these talks.
