Is this an open challenge from Keshav Prasad and Brajesh Pathak against CM Yogi?

After the BJP’s working committee meeting in Lucknow on July 14, political turmoil in Uttar Pradesh is quite intense. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak have given an open challenge to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. It is not right to call it a rebellion because these people are neither rebelling against the party nor making statements against the Chief Minister. They are only making the Chief Minister realize their power. Keshav Prasad Maurya has shared his photos with about 43 MLAs, two MLCs and about 10 ministers on social media in 10 days. If this is not an open challenge, then what else can it be?

Everything was not going well in Uttar Pradesh BJP since the defeat in Lok Sabha elections. When Yogi Adityanath called his first cabinet meeting after the election results, both the deputy CMs were missing. But in the BJP working committee meeting, it was as if Maurya blew the trumpet. The matter reached Delhi. The matter reached the court of BJP President JP Nadda and PM Narendra Modi, but no change was seen in the behavior of both the deputy CMs of the state. Even after Delhi’s intervention, both the deputy CMs are not leaving any opportunity to hurt the respect of Yogi Adityanath.

After the 14th, about 43 MLAs, two MLCs and 10 ministers have come to meet Keshav Prasad Maurya at his camp office. Out of these, 3 are Union ministers. Apart from this, several dozen MPs, former MPs and former MLAs of the state are also among those who meet him. People from the state level and district level organization are also meeting him continuously. The biggest thing is that this work is not being done secretly. In such circumstances when there is a power struggle between two powerful people, the MLA and the minister do not openly go with any group. But a photo session is going on every day in Keshav Prasad Maurya’s camp office. The simple meaning is that Maurya is trying to show how many people of the party are with him. Whether this show of power is for the Center, for Yogi Adityanath or for both, only he can tell better. Below are the names of those MLAs with whom Keshav Prasad Maurya has posted his photo on his X handle. It is not necessary that these MLAs are with Keshav Prasad Maurya, it is also possible that these MLAs may join Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath if they get a chance. It is also possible that just as these people have gone to meet Keshav Prasad Maurya at his camp office, they may have also gone to meet CM Yogi at his office. But politics is a game of symbols. This is what Keshav Prasad is doing. Let’s see how much success he gets. MLAs reached Keshav Maurya’s camp office. Since July 14, MLAs, ministers and people from the organization are reaching here every day.

Keshav and Pathak do not tag Yogi for the work being done in the state

When Keshav Prasad Maurya shares photos and information related to Uttar Pradesh government works, development works etc. on Instagram, he does not tag the Uttar Pradesh government or the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. In this matter, both the Deputy CMs of the state, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, are playing the same trick. For actions related to their cabinet, both of them tag PM Modi, BJP, etc. but completely avoid CM Yogi Adityanath or the UP government. Along with this, both the Deputy CMs continuously retweet the tweets of PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda but never retweet the tweets of Yogi Adityanath even by mistake. Even if it is a topic related to the Uttar Pradesh government. Keshav Maurya does not even tag CM Yogi Adityanath regarding works related to the Uttar Pradesh government.

The other deputy CM Brajesh Pathak also follows the footsteps of Keshav Prasad Maurya and does not tag CM Yogi Adityanath in any of his tweets, whether related to Uttar Pradesh or not. This clearly shows that the relationship of both the deputy CMs with CM Yogi Adityanath is not cordial. Like Keshav Maurya, the other deputy CM Brajesh Pathak also does not tag the CM in works related to Uttar Pradesh.
