A video of Rajasthan government’s soldier welfare minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is going viral, in which he is seen reprimanding police officers. Not only this, the minister is also scolding a police officer. This video is of Jaipur’s Shiprapath police station, where minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, angry with the police’s misbehavior with the Indian Army commandos, reached the police station on Monday, where he scolded the police officers.
In the viral video, cabinet minister Rajyavardhan Rathore is seen reprimanding a police officer and saying, “Have you not learnt basic manners or has the uniform become a different robe? Do you have any patience, any sense of service to the public? Or is it bullying?”
Actually the matter is related to an army commando who is posted in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir and has come to Jaipur on leave. On 11th August, he had gone to Shiprapath police station in Jaipur in connection with a case of his fellow commando, but when he had an altercation with the policemen there, they put the commando in the barrack and beat him up.

It is alleged that the policemen not only stripped the commando naked and beat him with sticks but also forced him to say ‘Police is the father of Indian Army. They also made a video of humiliating him. Then this video reached Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and he went straight to the police station. Where he showed the video to the police officers and expressed deep displeasure and demanded strict action.
On this, ACP Sanjay Sharma argued that the commando abused the policemen, but on being interrupted, the angry minister got angry at the ACP and citing basic protocol, taught him a lesson in manners. Not only this, if he did not stand quietly and at attention, he even asked him to go out.
Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that the Indian Army Jawan was stripped naked and beaten badly with sticks by the policemen, which is a very sad incident. This shows a disgusting mentality, such people are a threat to the society, so these policemen need to be investigated and treated. He said that five policemen together are beating an Indian soldier badly, which is cowardice to show off the uniform to those who protect the country. Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore talked to DGP UR Sahu and complained about the whole incident. After this, till late night, Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph suspended four policemen including Sub Inspector Banna Lal.
