Investigation of registered coaching centers started in Noida, basement of Aakash-FIITJEE sealed, action taken against these too

After the basement incident in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi, action has been initiated against coaching institutes in UP. In this connection, investigation of coaching centres in Noida has also begun. On Tuesday, a joint team was formed and a checking campaign was conducted in Sector 62. Here, the basement of Aakash and FIITJEE Institute was sealed for using the basement against the rules.

Apart from this, the entire coaching centre of Career Lawyer was seized. Also, Unacademy was ordered to run till this evening. It is being told that this centre was running without registration. This action was taken during the investigation of 49 coaching centres registered in Noida. After the incident in Delhi, a joint team was formed. The team of CFO, DIOS, City Magistrate, and Noida Authority is jointly engaged in the investigation. All the departments are engaged in the investigation according to their respective rules.

After the death of 3 students in the basement of a coaching centre in the country’s capital Delhi, the Uttar Pradesh government has become strict. In UP, action will be taken against using a basement approved for some other purpose for any other purpose. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to take action against basements built without approval.

It is being told that teams will be formed at the authority level to inspect the basement. The officers will be responsible if any untoward incident occurs in the basement. The government has also issued instructions to stop illegal digging of basements. According to the order, the basement will be used only as per the approved map. This instruction has been issued by the Additional Chief Secretary Housing to all the authorities.
