Indian Test squad for Bangladesh series: The Indian team will play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh at home this month. The first match will be played in Chennai from September 19, while the second match will be played in Kanpur from September 27. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may announce the team for this series on Monday (September 9).
This is the Indian team’s first red-ball (Test) series since March 2024. In the last series, England was defeated 4-1. On the other hand, this series will also be the first red-ball series for the new Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir.

According to the information received by Aaj Tak, the selection committee headed by Ajit Agarkar waited for the first round of Duleep Trophy matches so that the form of the players coming under the purview of selection could be seen. Rishabh Pant will return to the Test team
