Competitions have begun in Paris Olympics, India was expecting medals from the shooters on the first day. But in the 10 meter air rifle mixed team event, both the Indian pairs could not even qualify for the finals. Giving a disappointing performance in shooting, the pair of Elavenil Valarivan and Sandeep Singh finished 12th.
