John, an American citizen who lived in India for some time, said something about India on social media which quickly went viral. John expressed his opinion about Indian men which sparked a debate on social media.
John shared a video and said- I have lived in India for some time. During this time I have understood that Indian men suddenly and very easily go into lecture mode. He further said- Suppose if I say a sentence about something, then he will give a 30-minute lecture on it.
He further said that – ‘Indian men express their views even on those issues about which they know nothing. That is, if I tell them about the American culture where I grew up, they will start lecturing me about that too.’
John has shared this video on Instagram from the ID named @johninindia. While sharing the video, John wrote in the caption of the post, ‘Do you agree with this? Many times when I try to talk to Indian men, it turns into a 30-minute lecture!’ This post was shared on August 19. Since being posted, it has received more than seven lakh views. The video has also received about 23 thousand likes. Many people also commented on it.
One user jokingly wrote- ‘This is called knowledge- The Great Indian Knowledge’. Another said- ‘This is true to a large extent but it cannot be generalized.’ One user said- This is true somewhere, especially the elderly people here are like this.
