Paris olympics 2024 Bronze medal winner Indian hockey team Welcome: The hockey team that won bronze medal for Germany in Paris Olympics 2024 has returned to India. The team was given a tremendous and rousing welcome on reaching Delhi airport. Fans also reached the airport to welcome the team and the team was welcomed by playing drums.
During this, the players of the Indian hockey team also danced to the beats of Bhangra after coming out of the airport lounge. The captain of the team and famous captain Harmanpreet Singh, who is known as ‘Sarpanch Sahab’, also showed the bronze medal of Paris Olympics to the media during this time.

The Indian hockey team created history by winning the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics 2024. The team defeated Spain 2-1 in the bronze medal match. This was India’s fourth bronze medal in hockey. Apart from this, India has won the most 8 gold and 1 silver medals in Olympic history. India also won the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics. With this, the Indian hockey team created history in the Olympics after 52 years.
Actually, the Indian hockey team has won 2 consecutive medals in the Olympics after 52 years. Earlier, from 1960 to 1972, India had won 4 consecutive medals in hockey. Then in the 1976 Olympics, the country did not get any medal. After this, it won gold in 1980.
