India’s schedule on Day 4 (September 1) of Paralympics 2024: Today (September 1) is the fourth day of Paris Paralympics 2024. On the fourth day of these games, Indian para athletes will participate in many sports. On the fourth day, Indian players are expected to win medals in para shooting and para athletics. Apart from this, Indian players would also like to ensure medals by reaching the finals in para badminton. India has so far won five medals in Paris Paralympics, including one gold, one silver and three bronze. India is currently at number 22 in the medal tally.
Today, the eyes of Indian fans will be on Avani Lekhara in para shooting. Avani has already won a gold in the Paris Paralympics. Now her target is to perform well in the Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH2 event as well. Apart from Avani, Siddharth Babu will also participate in this event. Nishad Kumar, Ravi Rongali, Preeti Pal and Ram Pal are expected to perform well in para athletics. While in para badminton, Suhas LY, Nitesh Kumar, Sukant Kadam and T. Murugesan are one win away from ensuring a medal.
