Bihar Law and Order: The opposition alliance in Bihar-‘India’ alliance will hold a statewide agitation on July 20 to corner the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over the alleged deteriorating law and order situation in the state. The announcement was made at a joint press conference of the NDA allies held at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) headquarters in Patna. RJD state unit chief Jagadanand Singh said that the law and order situation in the state has completely collapsed. Cases of murder, kidnapping, extortion, rape etc. are being reported every day in the state.

Why is Nitish Kumar silent on the current situation?

He said, when people are not safe in the state, why is Chief Minister Nitish Kumar silent on the current situation? The Chief Minister also holds the charge of Home Department. All the parties of Hum India alliance will take out a protest march across the state on July 20 against the rising crime in Bihar. He said that this issue will also be raised in the upcoming monsoon session of the Bihar Legislature. Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav also criticized the state government over the “deteriorating law and order” in the state.

Tejashwi Yadav wrote on X, many such incidents have happened in Bihar which expose the current law and order. For example, the brutal murder of a husband and wife by stabbing them in East Champaran, triple murder in Saran (murder of father and two minor daughters), murder of a young man and woman in Madhaura (Saran). He also shared a video on X and wrote, a short list of auspicious events that happened in four-five days in the Mangalraj of NDA. Seeing all this, even the souls of demons can tremble, but the so-called protectors sitting in power enjoy watching this.
