PM Modi shared the YouTube link of Anurag Thakur’s speech and said that it must be heard.

A scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha

Actually, Anurag Thakur was retaliating to Rahul Gandhi’s speech in the Lok Sabha, when he made several comments. In his speech, the BJP leader retaliated to Rahul Gandhi’s caste census and said that those who do not know their caste talk about counting. During his speech, he exposed the alleged scams of the Congress and targeted Rahul Gandhi and listed many shortcomings of the previous Congress government.

Launching a scathing attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for his “Chakravyuh” jibe, Anurag Thakur cited Congress MP Shashi Tharoor’s purported excerpts from a book on successive Congress governments since 1947 and alleged that Rahul Gandhi has turned the post of ‘Leader of Opposition – LoP’ into ‘Leader of Propaganda’.

What did Rahul Gandhi say in his speech?

On Monday, Rahul Gandhi had used the word ‘Chakravyuh’ and claimed that there is an atmosphere of fear all around and a group of six people is trapping the whole country in a ‘Chakravyuh’. He had said that ‘Chakravyuh’ is also called ‘Padmavyuh’ because of the shape of lotus (BJP’s election symbol).

Taking aim at these comments of Rahul Gandhi, BJP leader Anurag Thakur said that a synonym of lotus is Rajiv. He said that you associated lotus with violence, so does it mean that you also associate Rajiv with violence?
