Chief Ministers and 15 Deputy CMs of 13 BJP-ruled states attended the meeting. Along with this, Deputy Chief Ministers of some NDA-ruled states also attended the meeting. During this, Prime Minister Modi emphasized on joint coordination between the state and central government to achieve the goal of ‘developed India’.

In this important meeting, there was a discussion on achieving the target of a 5 trillion dollar economy. Along with this, the new education policy was also discussed. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present in the meeting, he also gave a presentation. At the same time, the Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states also gave presentations on various development schemes running in their states. The two-day ‘Chief Minister Council’ started on Saturday.

‘Do not tamper with the plans of the Centre’

PM Modi said in the meeting that the poor welfare schemes run by the central government should not be tampered with, such as there should be no reduction in the scheme, nor anything should be added. For example, under the Pradhan Mantri Anna Yojana, the central government is giving 5 kg of grain per person in a family, so the same amount of grain should be given. Neither any food item should be increased nor decreased in it.

PM Modi told the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states to implement the Central Government’s schemes 100% on the ground in their respective states, but do not make any changes in the Central Government’s schemes. The Prime Minister said that the Central Government prepares any scheme after careful consideration and after seeing the impact it will have on the public, so do not make any changes in it.

‘Wrong people should not take advantage of the schemes’

PM Modi said that try to implement central schemes in your respective states, do not adulterate the efforts of the center in the implementation of those schemes. PM said that focus completely on the beneficiary schemes. So that these schemes can be implemented properly. BJP workers should also cooperate in this. Also, keep in mind that the wrong people do not take advantage of this.

According to PTI, PM Modi stressed the need to ensure wide dissemination of welfare schemes running in BJP-ruled states and said that these should be seen as examples of good governance. Sources said that PM Modi mentioned the efforts of BJP-ruled governments to help various sections of the society, especially the poor. Chief Ministers Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), CM Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam), CM Bhajanlal Sharma (Rajasthan) and CM Mohan Charan Majhi (Odisha) as well as Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Haryana, Manipur and Chhattisgarh also attended the meeting of the Council of Chief Ministers.
