In Salumbhar, Rajasthan, a 30-year-old youth killed his own friend by slitting his throat with a sword on suspicion of practicing witchcraft. The shocking thing is that when the police came to arrest him, he also killed himself.

According to the report, regarding this incident, the police said on Saturday that in Salumbhar, the accused Fateh Singh slit his friend’s throat with a sword and fled from the spot.

Late Friday night, the accused Fateh Singh was surrounded by the police and locals in a hilly area. SP Arshad Ali said that despite being asked to surrender, he slit his own throat.

He said, ‘After being injured, he was taken to the hospital where he died.’ The accused had gone into hiding after killing teacher Shankar Lal Meghwal. Police said Meghwal was standing near a shop late Thursday night when Fateh Singh attacked him with a sword and slit his throat.

Before fleeing into the forest, he also injured Meghwal’s father Dal Chand, who had come to rescue his son. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital. In this case, the police said that Fateh Singh suspected that Meghwal practiced black magic, due to which he suffered losses in his business.

SP Ali said, people in the Meghwal Basti, where both of them lived, claimed that Meghwal and Singh were good friends till a year ago. He said, they were interested in black magic.
