In Rajasthan, a man killed his newborn son to get rid of the ‘evil spirit’

A shocking incident of murder of a newborn child has come to light in Bundi district of Rajasthan on Sunday. This incident has been carried out by none other than the child’s father. It is being told that he suspected that the child was ‘possessed by an evil spirit’. Therefore, on the advice of a tantrik, he killed his child to get rid of the ‘evil spirit’. Police is investigating this case.

According to the information, this incident took place in Dollar village on Sunday morning at around 5 am. Ten-month-old Ansh was sleeping with his mother Gayatri, when the accused Jitendra Bairwa alias Jittu reached there and picked up his child and threw him on the ground. After this, the family members took the child to the local hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Meanwhile, the accused fled from the spot.

Kapren SHO Kamal Singh said that based on the complaint of the mother of the deceased child, a case of murder has been registered against the accused father under the relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code. After the post-mortem, the body of the child has been handed over to the family. The accused Jitendra Bairwa, a resident of Badunda village, was living with his wife and son at his in-laws’ house for about a year.

SHO said that the accused suspected that he was possessed by an evil spirit. He went to a tantrik to get rid of it. It is being told that he sacrificed his child on his advice. Police has started investigation in this case after registering a case against the accused. The accused is absconding. Raids are being conducted to search for him. Information about the tantrik is also being sought.

Let us tell you that in January this year, a horrific incident of murder of a girl came to light in Bundi. Here a young man strangled his girlfriend to death. Both of them had gone for a walk on their farm house. After committing the murder, the accused youth informed the police control room. As soon as the information of this incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for post-mortem.

The accused was identified as Mukesh Meghwal. It is being told that the girl used to teach in a coaching institute in Bundi. Both of them met there. DSP Taleda Mahavir Sharma said that the police control room was informed by the youth Mukesh Meghwal that he had killed a girl. It was also told that there was a love affair between the accused and the victim.
