Now Imran has talked about the pressure on actors to look good. He said that there is a pressure on male actors to look good and masculine. And due to this pressure, he himself has taken steroids.

Talking to YouTube channel ‘We Are Yuva’, Imran said, ‘In the last 10-20 years, this pressure started building on men as well. Especially after the rise of the superhero genre, and it started with Hrithik. Even in the 90s, Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt were strong muscular boys. When you see this too much, you start feeling the pressure and you say to yourself, ‘I need to look like this.’ Social media has also increased this thing further.

When Imran took steroids
Imran also told that he had taken steroids to fit himself in the ‘masculine’ image of popular men in Bollywood. He said, ‘For a long time I also tried to fulfill this pressure completely, but I am not like ‘Captain America’, my body is not like ‘Thor’. I tried my best. I took everything. I also used steroids but its effect does not last long.’

Imran Khan was last seen on the big screen in the film ‘Katti Batti’. His film with Kangana Ranaut was a huge flop at the box office. In a conversation with Film Companion, Imran has said that when he felt that he was getting away from his reality, he quit films. Imran had said, ‘Being an actor is not my job. I can become an actor if I want; if I don’t want all these things, then I cannot become an actor. This was optional, fixing yourself is not optional.’
