IMD Alert: There will be heavy rains from Delhi to Bihar, Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert

Torrential rains continue in the country, due to which flood-like conditions have arisen in many states and people are facing a lot of problems. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rains in Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya and Kerala today i.e. on August 11.

The weather has become pleasant due to heavy rain in many areas of Delhi-NCR on Sunday. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy rain in North-West and South-West Delhi today i.e. on 11 August. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 32 to 34 degree Celsius this whole week and the minimum temperature is likely to remain around 25 to 27 degree Celsius.

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, during the next 24 hours, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Uttar Pradesh, East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh may receive light to moderate rain with heavy rain at some places.

On the other hand, light to moderate rains may occur in Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, East Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, parts of Telangana and Vidarbha. Apart from this, light rain is possible in Western Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, North Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, a cyclonic circulation is spread over northeast Rajasthan and adjoining areas up to 5.8 km above sea level, which is tilted towards southwest and remains at a height. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is spread over southeast Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas up to 4.5 km above sea level.

Further the Monsoon trough from the sea level now passes through Ferozepur, Hissar, Orai, Varanasi, Jamshedpur, Digha and then east-southeastwards across north-east Bay of Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above the sea level, it is passing through the above mentioned cyclonic circulation first over north-east Rajasthan and second over south-east Uttar Pradesh.

At the same time, a cyclonic circulation extends up to 1.5 km above sea level in north-east Assam. In South Jharkhand and adjoining areas, the cyclonic circulation is tilted towards the south and remains at a height of 5.8 to 7.6 km above sea level.
